Color| Up Close & Personal is a group show from three longtime collaborators. Marcia Katz, Judith Landry, and Sally Slifkin are local female artists and longtime members of the Arlington Artists Alliance. Through their artistic styles are distinct, the featured artists share an interest in color. They explore color in a variety of ways, including how certain colors work next to each other, unique color choices representing light and shadow, and articulating how a painting comes alive using color. Their painting subjects include interiors, dogs, florals, landscapes, still life's, DC landmarks, and architectural landscapes. Artworks will be available for purchase during the show and online."
