Come celebrate the joy of reading at Met Park! E3: Elevate Early Education, the READ, VA campaign, Amazon and other partners are coming together to raise awareness and ignite a love of books and reading in our children during a critical time in literacy and language development. Danica McKellar, the New York Times bestselling author of children’s math books including Goodnight, Numbers, will serve as the guest author. This special book was selected to be part of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Danica is a summa cum laude graduate of UCLA with a degree in mathematics and is well known for her roles on The Wonder Years and The West Wing. This event is free for anyone to attend!
