Is the event rain or shine?

No, however we generally wait as late as possible to cancel due to weather.

Is there seating available?

Yes! There are tables & chairs as well as grassy areas where you can stretch out, however chair supply is limited, so if you don't want to sit on the grass, feel free to bring a lawn/beach chair. We will also be giving away picnic blankets each week while supplies last.

Can we bring outside food?

Absolutely. While we encourage everyone to check out the Peruvian Brothers menu of delicious Peruvian food, picnics are more than welcome!

Can we bring outside alcohol?

No. The Peruvian Brothers has beer, wine & seltzers available for purchase at the stand, and you can carry your beverage into the park to enjoy the show, but outside alcohol is not permitted.

Do we have to drink our adult beverages inside the fenced-in area?

Nope! We're very excited that this year JBG SMITH has acquired a special license to allow patrons to carry their adult beverage from the Peruvian Brothers out into the park, provided that it is in a disposable cup with the Peruvian Brothers logo on it. If you wish to purchase a bottle of wine, you will need to sit inside the fenced-in area to enjoy it.

Where is there parking?

You can get to Fridays at the Fountain by bike, bus, metro, and train. However, if you are driving, there is parking in the garage across the street from the Water Park at 1750 Crystal Drive. This garage is free after 4pm.

There are no restrooms at the park itself. However, there are public restrooms available inside the shops at 1750 Crystal Drive (across the street). Walk down the hall until you come to The Landing (big white open space), turn left and the restrooms will be on your right.
