Join us on Wednesday, June 18, for a free screening of Segregated by Design, a short film (17 minutes) based on Richard Rothstein’s The Color of Law, in honor of Juneteenth.
A Vimeo “Best of the Year” nominee, the film highlights how federal, state, and local governments unconstitutionally segregated American cities through housing policy and urban planning.
Following the screening, we will be joined by Monique Bryant, Executive Director of Challenging Racism and longtime Arlington resident, and others for a thoughtful panel discussion on the film’s themes and their continued relevance in our community today.
The first 50 attendees will receive a free copy of The Color of Law.
All attendees will receive reserved seating along with a complimentary popcorn and one beverage of choice.
Please register below to reserve your spot. Doors close at 6:00 pm, please arrive on time to guarantee your seat.
Note: photographers and videographers may be present to photograph/film the event for future promotional use. By attending, you grant your permission to be captured in event photography or videography.
