National Landing's Pink in the Park Blossoms Again for Year Three

Virginia’s Premier Celebration of The National Cherry Blossom Festival Activates Spaces Across National Landing with Free, Signature Events 

NATIONAL LANDING, ARLINGTON, VA (MARCH 13, 2025) – The National Landing Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with Amazon and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, celebrates cherry blossom season with the return of Pink in the Park in National Landing. This free, pink-themed event series brings the festival experience across the Potomac to Arlington with engaging events offering art, music, family-friendly activities, and food and drinks from local vendors throughout the spring season: Pink in the Pool, a family swim party, returns to Long Bridge Park; the reimagined Art of Pink showcases Metropolitan Park after-hours with an immersive event featuring a pop-up gallery of 70+ DMV artists, local cuisine, a breakdancing competition with DJ Fleg; and Pink Beats, a Thursday happy hour music series in Water Park with cherry blossom-inspired food, lawn games and spring décor. Pink in the Park is presented by Amazon and produced by National Landing BID with support from JBG Smith, Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and Dweck Properties. PINK IN THE POOL:

  • WHEN: Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • WHERE: Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center | 333 Long Bridge Drive, Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Dive into fun at Pink in the Pool! Enjoy a pool day with free access to the Long Bridge Aquatics Center. Don't miss fun activities including an origami station, tea tasting with Study Japanese in Arlington, cherry blossom-decorated cotton candy from Fluffness and fun activities like free glitter tattoos, cherry blossom balloon twisting, a Japanese candy and snack station, and a story time.   
  • HOW: Free with RSVP — currently at capacity; however, an additional limited number of tickets will be released on Friday, March 14 at 10am. nationallanding.org/pink 

PINK BEATS:

  • WHEN: Thursday, March 27, Thursday, April 3 and Thursday, April 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • WHERE: Water Park | 1601 Crystal Dr, Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Enjoy a three-part music series on the Water Park stage featuring top local talent programmed by Songbyrd, DC’s premier music house. Guests can enjoy a variety of spring-inspired food and drinks from Water Park kiosks, happy hour deals, and a festive atmosphere with blossom-themed décor, lawn games, and special giveaways.

ART OF PINK:

  • WHEN: Friday, April 11, 5 to 10 p.m.
  • WHERE: Metropolitan Park | 1321 S. Elm St. Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Immerse yourself in an after-hours art and music experience celebrating cherry blossom season throughout Metropolitan Park. Browse the Blossom Night Market, a curated assortment of local food vendors and makers, featuring artists including Death by Narwhals, Peach and Paperie and Iggi Jewelry, alongside food from Ekiben Baltimore, AJM Kimchii, RollPlay and more. Catch an electrifying breakdance showcase with beats by DJ Fleg of Olympic breakdancing fame. Explore BLOOM: a 1x1 art exhibit, featuring cherry blossom-inspired original work by 70+ local artists. All art pieces are available for purchase. Shop Met Park retailers, snap Instagram-worthy photos and soak in the lively nighttime atmosphere of National Landing. Art of Pink is produced in collaboration with Studio USAN and the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington.
