Brazen KIDS!: CrossFit Kids Camp

A half-day camp where kids ages 7-13 will mix fun, friendship, mindfulness and movement. Kids will learn basic weightlifting safety, fun physical skills, and teamwork, while growing self-confidence, and regulation skills.

This camp is for beginners and will mix body awareness, light weights, foundational gymnastics movements, and a variety of games.

No prior CrossFit experience necessary.

Monday July 1st - Wednesday, July 3rd
9am-1pm
At Brazen Fitness

DAILY SCHEDULE

* 9a - 9:30a: Sign in, bathroom, and warm up
* 9:30a - 10:30a: Full CrossFit class; game, drill, challenge (workout)
mindfulness and regulation
* 10:30a - 11a: Clean up, bathroom, socialize
* 11:30a - 12p: Lunch
* 12p - 1p: Walk to Long Bridge Park (less than a block from the gym), dismissal

* Who: Led by Coach Meredyth El-Amine - Meredyth is a mom of 3 and co-owner of Brazen Fitness, and founder of Inner Strength Coaching. Meredyth has extensive experience with both kids and CrossFit. She's a former teacher, behavior analyst and CrossFit coach for adults. She's starting this camp to gauge interest in the community for youth CrossFit classes and to teach her own kids the valuable lessons learned in the weight room. Meredyth currently works as a certified health coach with women across the country.
* No refunds or partial payments
* Pack your child's lunch, water bottle, and snack. Lunch is at 11:30am.
* Pick up is 12:45-1pm, late pick up will be charged $25
* Kids should wear something comfortable to get hot and sweaty in (typically shorts and a t-shirt), sneakers, and have hair securely tied up.
