The walk will start and end at the Water Park, using the new Long Bridge park trail, and the new multi-use trail under 395 to get to the Pentagon Memorial.
Details
The 9/11 National Memorial Trail https://www.911trail.org/ running for over 1,300 miles, connects the three 9/11 sites and only hosts one walking event (the rest are biking) each year...and this is it! Speakers connected to 9/11 events will greet the walkers at the Pentagon Memorial, and at the start of the walk at the Water Park at National Landing. At just under 4 miles, this easy walk will highlight recent trail connections, and the new relationship of the trail to the National Park Service.
