Vibe with Negar Ahkami's art installation of interactive dance platforms. Inspired by Persian art and hospitality. Free to attend.

Hosted during Art After Hours, Y’All Go Rhythm invites you to come dance and take part in this multi-media art event.

Artist Negar Ahkami will unveil her new series of art pieces that are also functioning dance platforms. The artwork is inspired by colors and patterns in Iranian art and architecture, and by the vibrant dancing in Iranian gatherings and holidays. In sharing her inspiration, the artist also invites people to consider our shared humanity and connections.

A DJ will help you feel the rhythm, with a mix Iranian and American (and other) music. Y’All Go Rhythm may sound like the word Algorithm, but it is a call for IRL gathering and a command to channel rhythm and flow with dancing and tactile creativity.

Free, and open to the public. For all ages, at MoCA Arlington.
