Dr. Galiani was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area and has been practicing in Crystal City since 1968. He merged his practice with that of Drs. Snyder and Snively in 1995, when the combined practices became Northern Virginia Doctors of Optometry. Dr. Galiani received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and his doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association, with more than 35 years of experience. Dr. Galiani specializes in contact lenses, especially the "difficult to fit" patient. Additionally, his experience in laser corrective surgery has led to an expertise in pre and post-operative co-management for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
