National Landing Market, Bun’d Up and Made in Arlington Collaborate on Holiday Artisanal Market

ARLINGTON, VA [November 30, 2021] –- Today, DCBB Productions, producer of National Landing Market and Dupont’s Basement, announced its collaboration with Arlington-based Bun’d Up and Made in Arlington, to produce the first-ever National Landing Holiday Market. Featuring artisanal market vendors curated by DCBB Productions and uniquely curated food vendors by Bun’d Up, the National Landing Holiday market will take over Crystal Drive for a two-day night and day market event on December 17 and 18. The National Landing Holiday Market is presented by National Landing BID and JBG SMITH.

From vintage clothing to art, jewelry, collectibles, crafts, delicious food and live music, the National Landing Holiday Market will feature local vendors, including: Jasmine Designs, offering an assortment of purses, handbags, bracelets and belts made with leather from Morocco; Mustafa’s Rugs, selling intricately handmade rugs from Turkey and surrounding nations; Capital Vintage and No Encore Club with vintage holiday sweaters, along with other nostalgic pieces; and Everybody Sweet with vanilla and ginger-scented candles and lip balms.

Bun’d Up is an exploration of the Asian-American identity through food. By combining Korean and American flavors with original Taiwanese “Gua Bao,” it strives to put a modern twist on a beloved classic while honoring the history behind it. Bun’d Up has a location at Pentagon Row and in popular food halls like Union Market and The Block at Pike & Rose.

Made in Arlington is an initiative of Arlington Economic Development to support local artisans and makers. Arlington is home to a growing number of creative businesses that include chocolate makers, bakers, jewelers, soap makers, ceramic artists, a custom furniture maker and more.

The National Landing Holiday Market will be open on December 17 and 18 at the beautiful pergola at 2121 Crystal Drive in Arlington, VA, and will be free and open to the public. The full line-up of vendors, and festive entertainment and installations for photo moments will be announced in the coming weeks. Visitors will also be able to cozy up in a winter lodge and snap an Instagram with the transformed Summer Houses into festive holiday themed lodges for the winter season.
