CRYSTAL SCREAM: FALL MOVIES SERIES COMES TO CRYSTAL CITY

Crystal City (Arlington, VA) – This isn’t a trick, but a treat. From slashers to séances, the Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith presents four weeks of terrifying movie classics with a special October run of Crystal Screen.

“With most of the area’s summer film series wrapping up before the fall, we saw an opportunity to expand the fun,” said Crystal City BID CEO/President, Angela Fox. “The cooler fall temperatures and earlier sunsets combined with Halloween make for the perfect opportunity for a scary experience.”

  • October 5 Pet Semetary
  • October 12 Scream
  • October 19 Poltergeist
  • October 26 Exorcist

All Crystal Screen movie series are shown in the courtyard on S. Bell Street between 18th and 20th Streets. Movie start times vary and are dependent on ample darkness as sunset times permit (view a sunset schedule here), but all should end by 8:30pm.

Let’s Get Social: Costumes are encouraged! Snap a photo of yours and tag #CrystalScream on Twitter or Instagram to win $20 to the Schakolad Chocolate Factory in Crystal City.
