Fall Into Fun with Weekly Community Events in National Landing

Kick Off Autumn with the Annual Oktoberfest And Enjoy Beer, Fitness, Outdoor Music and More

This fall, National Landing is celebrating the new season with weekly community events ranging from the annual Oktoberfest to a beer festival, outdoor fitness and music series, farmers markets and more.

The fall season kicks off with National Landing’s annual Oktoberfest! Celebrate with a day full of dancing, cheers and revelry hosted by the National Landing Business Improvement District and DC Fray. Guests will enjoy traditional German music from The Alte Kumpel Band, crisp lagers from Port City Brewing Company and pub bites from nearby restaurants including Crystal City Sports Pub, The Portofino Restaurant and Beauty Champagne and Sugar Boutique.

Adults can participate in a classic Stein hold and a costume competition to celebrate the best dressed and a braid bar by Drybar National Landing will be available!

WHEN: Saturday, September 28 from 12 to 4 p.m.

HOW: Festival tickets are available for purchase at nationallanding.org/oktoberfest. Tickets are required and are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

• Virginia Beer Festival: Come to National Landing Water Park for the first-ever Virginia Beer Festival! Food, fun, beer, and live music by Relaxed Fit await. Friends, families and pets are welcome.

• Fit @ Potomac Yard: Gear up for the week with instructor-led fitness classes at Potomac Yard! No experience required.

• Tuesday Farmers Market at Met Park: Met Park farmers market returns, featuring fresh produce and local creations.

• Fit @ Met: Start your day with a free instructor-led fitness class at Met Park! No experience required.
  
  • WHEN: Every Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m. through October 30
  • HOSTED BY: National Landing Business Improvement District and DC Fray

• Jazz @ Met: Presented in partnership with the DC Jazz Festival and Amazon, the outdoor music series will feature traditional jazz and fusion artists from across the DMV region.
  • WHEN: Every Thursday through October 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

• Saturday Farmers Market at Met Park: Support local farmers and businesses at Met Park’s Saturday Farmers Market. Shop for fresh produce, enjoy hot food, and explore local crafts.
