Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hosts 2nd Annual Minority Vendor Showcase

Arlington, VA – March 2025 – Following the incredible success of last year’s event, Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport is excited to host the 2nd Annual Minority Vendor Showcase ​in National Landing ​on April 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., with vendor setup on April 9, 2025. This premier event provides a platform for diverse businesses to connect with leaders in the hospitality and business sectors, fostering meaningful partnerships and procurement opportunities. 

Last year’s Minority Vendor Showcase was a resounding success, drawing over 700 attendees and helping major hotel companies integrate new, diverse products into their procurement processes. Vendors praised the event for its organization and impact, with many noting the lifelong connections they formed. The community came together to celebrate innovation, and the showcase even helped introduce multiple spirits into Virginia’s market, further expanding opportunities for minority-owned brands. 

With a continued focus on Food, Fuel, Fitness, and Fun, this year’s event will welcome 80 minority-owned businesses, including Black-owned, Hispanic-owned, LGBTQIA+-owned, and women-owned enterprises. Vendors will have the opportunity to present their products and services to industry professionals, procurement specialists, and community leaders.

National Landing spans Arlington’s Pentagon City, Crystal City and Potomac Yard neighborhoods and is home to Amazon HQ2, the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus and a diverse roster of restaurants, retail, residences and hotels.​​​​

Attendees, vendors, and community members are encouraged to join the conversation on social media using #MVS2025. Share insights, photos, and key takeaways throughout the event to connect with a broader audience and celebrate the innovation and diversity on display. 

The event will also feature business training sessions led by BizLaunch, Arlington Economic Development’s small business initiative, covering essential topics such as financial health and social media marketing.

Vendor Participation Requirements: 

Qualified businesses must be minority- or LGBTQIA+-owned, have the ability to supply products to large-scale businesses, and be prepared to showcase their offerings through samples, displays, and meaningful interactions with attendees. 

Interested vendors can apply by submitting their request to wasrc.vendorshowcase@hyatt.com. All applicants will be reviewed by a hotel committee, with final selections announced in early 2025.
