National Landing Bid And Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) Award 33 Local Businesses Second Annual “Love Local” Grants

Pentagon City, Crystal City and Potomac Yard Businesses Will Use Funds to Continue COVID-19 Recovery

ARLINGTON, VA – APRIL 22, 2022 - National Landing Business Improvement District (BID), in coordination with Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), today announced the recipients of its $100,000 COVID-19 relief grant program, Love Local. The partners named 33 National Landing restaurants and small businesses as awardees, for full list click here.

“As National Landing continues to recover from the impacts of COVID-19, Love Local grants will help our local businesses continue to support their employees while providing our neighbors with important services,” said Tracy Sayegh Gabriel, President and Executive Director of the National Landing BID. “We are proud to be a part of this critical initiative and look forward to supporting our local businesses and seeing them thrive.”

In addition to providing grant money, the National Landing BID and RAMW are also encouraging local businesses to participate in Love Local Day on Saturday, April 30. Residents and visitors will be invited to visit National Landing businesses that will offer one-day-only specials and deals. View these specials here.

This marks the second year of the National Landing BID’s Love Local Program in collaboration with RAMW. In 2021, 30 restaurants, retailers, fitness studios, and other local businesses were named Love Local awardees. The National Landing BID is also a sponsor of RAMW’s 2022 Metropolitan Washington Winter Restaurant Week, covering the costs of the neighborhood’s restaurants to participate in another exciting annual program designed to encourage the community to return to their favorite restaurants as well as try something new.
