National Landing Blooms as "Pink in the Park" Returns For A Fourth Year

NATIONAL LANDING BLOOMS AS “PINK IN THE PARK” RETURNS FOR A FOURTH YEAR

Northern Virginia’s Annual National Cherry Blossom Festival Celebration

Presents Free Signature Events for All Ages across National Landing

ARLINGTON, VA (FEBRUARY 27, 2026) – The National Landing Business Improvement District (BID), in collaboration with Amazon and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, marks cherry blossom season with the return of Pink in the Park across National Landing. This free, spring event series brings the festival across the river to Arlington with a lineup of engaging cultural programming featuring art, live music, family-friendly activities, and local food and beverage. In addition to events for all ages, get an early peek at the cherry blossoms along Long Bridge Park, and enjoy blossom-themed outdoor installations throughout National Landing at Water Park and Metropolitan Park.

Pink in the Park is presented by Amazon and produced by National Landing. All events are free. For more information, visit nationallanding.org/pink.

“PINK IN THE PARK” EVENT LINEUP INCLUDES:

PINK IN THE POOL: Bring the family for free access to the Long Bridge Aquatics Center’s leisure pool for the morning. Enjoy open swim time surrounded by pink beach balls, festive pink décor, and even a poolside mermaid. Poolside, attendees can get creative with Study Japanese in Arlington’s tea and origami station and paper lantern decorating from the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington. In addition, there will be flower balloon twisting, and delicious Japanese snacks!

  • WHEN: Saturday, March 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • WHERE: Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center | 333 Long Bridge Drive, Arlington, VA 22202
  • HOW: Free with RSVP — Advance registration on Eventbrite is required as space is limited. Registration opens on Thursday, March 5 at 12 p.m. nationallanding.org/pink

PINK BEATS: Experience the best happy hour entertainment at Pink Beats, an outdoor music series on the Water Park stage featuring electronic music curated by top local DJs. New this year, the music is accompanied by a whimsical visual spectacle curated by Hoop Fairy, as dancers dressed in cherry blossom attire engage the crowd with beautiful artistry, flower giveaways and more. Guests can kick back with spring-inspired food and drinks specials available for purchase from an array of Water Park kiosks, including Monstera Burrito, Spot of Tea, Queen Mother’s Kitchen, Fat Fish and more.

  • WHEN: Thursday, March 26; Thursday, April 2; and Thursday, April 9 from 5 to 8 p.m.
  • WHERE: Water Park, the region’s only outdoor food hall | 1601 Crystal Dr, Arlington, VA 22202. Water Park is a 4-minute walk from the Crystal City Metro.

ART OF PINK: Step into an after-hours celebration at Metropolitan Park, as it transforms into an indoor/outdoor art showcase. Guests can browse BLOOM, an exhibition featuring 50+ local artists showcasing cherry blossom inspired artwork, enjoy Japanese and pan-Asian bites and sips from local vendors such as Fat Fish and Bar Chinois, and catch an exhilarating live paint battle with Secret Walls. The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington’s Innovation Studio and Amazon’s HQ2 lobbies will be open as an exhibition space with art activities for guests, and DJ Joyce Lim will also be on-site with live beats. Visitors are also encouraged to visit the surrounding Met Park restaurants for cherry-blossom specials, capture Instagram-worthy photos, and enjoy the nighttime atmosphere of National Landing. Art of Pink is produced by the National Landing BID in collaboration with USAN USAN and the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington.

Metropolitan Park is an approximately 7-minute walk from the Pentagon City Metro.
