National Landing's Jazz @ Met Returns With Weekly Outdoor Music
Presented in Partnership with the DC Jazz Festival, the Free Thursday Series Features Top Local Talent, Concessions & Art Activities in Metropolitan Park, May 8 – June 12
WHAT: Back for a third year, Jazz @ Met invites all to celebrate the warm weather and incredible music at the weekly free concert series in National Landing’s Metropolitan Park. Hosted by the National Landing BID, presented in partnership with the DC Jazz Festival and sponsored by Amazon, Jazz @ Met kicks off Thursday, May 8 with the brilliant artistry of jazz vocalist Akua Allrich and The Tribe, and continues with a range of acclaimed local performers through June 12.
Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the live music on the Central Green in Metropolitan Park. Grab a bite from a local restaurant or stop by Toby's Handmade Ice Cream cart or Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe’s on-site pop-up. Guests can also get crafty with free art activities each week from the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington’s “MoCA on the Move” program.

- May 15: JoGo Project (Jazz & Go-Go)
- May 22: Alison Crockett (Jazz Fusion)
- May 29: Veronneau (Brazilian Jazz)
- June 5: Son Cubano Subterráneo (Cuban Son)
- June 12: Carr-Keys (Straight-Ahead Soul Jazz)
