Pink in the Park Returns to National Landing

Ring in Cherry Blossom Season With a Three-Part, Pink-Themed Celebration Featuring Family Activities, Live Music, Interactive Art and More!

WASHINGTON, DC (MARCH 8, 2024) -- The National Landing Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with Amazon and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, is proud to announce the return of Pink in the Park, in celebration of the cherry blossom season. This playful, pink-themed event series offers a trio of neighborhood experiences, welcoming the peak of spring with live art, food and drinks from local vendors, family-friendly activities, music and more. Pink in the Park is presented by Amazon, and sponsored by JBG Smith, Clark Construction, the Arlington Convention and Visitors Service, and the Consumer Technology Association.

THIS YEARS EVENT CALENDAR INCLUDES:

ART OF PINK:

  • WHEN: Saturday March 23, 1-5 p.m.
  • WHERE: Metropolitan Park | 1321 S. Elm St. Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Step into the bloom of creativity at Pink in the Park's Art of Pink event! Art of Pink is a vivid celebration of local talent from the DMV area, including artists, makers and small businesses. The event will feature the Sari Sari Pop-Up Market by SAMASAMA, showcasing a vibrant selection of over 20 creatives, art activities from The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington, and live artists creating murals inspired by cherry blossoms and, of course, all things pink.

In addition to Art of Pink, guests can stop by from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to enjoy a Farmers Market produced by EatLoco, featuring local farmers and businesses offering fresh organic fruits and veggies, hot food prepared onsite and local crafters.

PINK IN THE POOL:

  • WHEN: Saturday April 6, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • WHERE: Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center | 333 Long Bridge Drive, Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Bring your kids and join us for a splash of fun and culture at Pink in the Pool! Enjoy complimentary entry to the aquatics center, now playfully decked with pink pool toys. Discover the elegance of Japanese customs with our origami workshops and tea-tasting sessions offered by the Study Japanese in Arlington Initiative. Treat yourself to freshly spun cotton candy and cherry blossom-inspired sweets, and gather around for storytime sessions surrounded by delightful cherry blossom-themed decor.

PINK BEATS:

  • WHEN: Saturday April 13, 4 - 9 p.m.
  • WHERE: Water Park | 1601 Crystal Dr, Arlington, VA 22202
  • WHAT: Celebrate the season with a spectacular evening under the blossoms at Water Park, accompanied by the vibrant tunes of local talents. Enjoy the vibes of D.C.'s own rock n' soul ensemble, Oh He Dead, sway to the world-inspired rhythms of Gordan Daniels, get swept away by the musical fusion of The Experience Band & Show, jam with the Wrizzards a Filipino multi-genre musical collective, or get down to the Broke Royals, a D.C. based rock & roll band. Likewise, indulge in specials offered by Water Park’s locally acclaimed food kiosks, and quench your thirst with refreshing beverages available at Water Bar.
