Crystal City (Arlington, VA) – The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith, recently helped Sofar Sounds transform a secret location in the Crystal City Shops into an intimate, live music venue for a sold-out crowd. Book your spot at the next Crystal City show on March 6th and expect monthly shows at least through the spring.

“Music can shape and magnify the soul of any place,” said Angela Fox, CEO of the Crystal City BID. “The artists that Sofar Sounds selects along with the intimacy of the experience provides a magical combination that is a perfect addition for the Crystal City community.”

A Sofar Sounds concert is an intimate event where the best new and upcoming artists perform in unique spaces to an audience of music lovers. The group started in London and is now in 316 cities worldwide, with around 500 opportunities every month for artists to play. During the event the music always comes first. People sit, listen, and never talk through the set, providing a great listening experience.
