Crystal City (Arlington, VA)  The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith and the Washington Wine Academy, is spicing up the Vintage Crystal experience this September with three events sure to spark flavor and inspire culinary curiosity. Sip your way through September, as Crystal City becomes the destination for beer, wine and gastronomic delights. Come dance the day away while sipping wine and tasting the best from the neighborhood at Sip and Salsa. Next, have a pawesome time bonding with your best friend and enjoying craft brew at the Pups and Pilsners beer festival. And all September long, unwind from the week with sips, painting and live music at Wine in the Water Park.

Crystal City's signature wine and food tasting event, Sip and Salsa, boasts the DC region's only inside the beltway, outdoor wine festival with the ease of safe and responsible transit access. Sip and Salsa brings wine tastings from Spain provided by Jaleo, South American wine provided by the Crystal City Wine Shop, and tempting tapas and tastes from local restaurants. Free Salsa dancing lessons from The Salsa Room and live music round out the 9th installment of this local favorite. Presale tickets are $20 and $25 at the door so save by purchasing online. Food only tickets are available for $10.

Pups and Pilsners

Fly solo or bring your furry friend to the Pups and Pilsners outdoor beer festival in Crystal City. This dog-friendly festival features a massive beer garden with craft brew and offerings from local breweries. Plan a picnic or grab a bite from a local Crystal City restaurant or on-site food truck. The online ticket presale will open soon!

Wine in the Water Park & ArtJamz
Every Friday in September, 6-10PM
Across from 1750 Crystal Drive

Wine in the Water Park combines sips and sounds to create an ambient outdoor event featuring interesting wine varietals and live music in the neighborhood's signature Crystal City Water Park. Expert noses from the Washington Wine Academy help guests select and enjoy the perfect wine for a post-work beverage to kick-off the weekend right.

If you're interested in sipping and painting, ArtJamz is offering a free painting session at Wine In the Water Park from 6PM to 7:30PM every Friday in September. Until supplies last, attendees get a 12 x 16 canvas, 1.5 hours of creating time, paints and art materials, easel, smock rental and helpful tips from an art-trained team of creative enablers.
