Spark Ignition at Crystal Car - A Father's Day Auto Festival

Crystal City (Arlington, VA)- Drivers, start your engines! This weekend, celebrate Father’s Day in style amongst heavy machinery and horsepower at Crystal Car: A Father's Day Auto Festival. The Crystal City Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Vornado/Charles E. Smith, and the Washington Wine Academy, is hosting the third annual Crystal Car on Sunday, June 21, 2015. Don't miss the opportunity to register your vehicle for exhibition at the car show. 

The family-friendly festival will showcase a variety of automobile categories including innovative electric vehicles, sports cars, classic muscle cars, and more. Visit the Local Motors Mobifactory to learn about the science of 3D-printing with free 20-min classes each hour on the hour, starting at 10 a.m. until close at 6 p.m. There will be activities for kids including the chance to paint their own racecar and play in a moon bounce. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and a beer | wine garden hosted by The Washington Wine Academy. Crystal Car is located at the parking lot of 220 20th street and 1900 Crystal Drive, steps away from Crystal City’s great restaurants where you can continue to celebrate all things dad!
