Crystal City (Arlington, VA) – Prepare to travel through the nine circles of hell without sacrificing your soul. Synetic Theater brings its popular 2009 rendition of this 14th century epic poem where a lost traveler must navigate a treacherous journey through hell in search of spiritual redemption and his lost love. This revitalized, wordless version of Synetic’s emotionally-charged production promises to be a wicked whirlwind of stunning visuals, hauntingly vivid original music, and powerful physicality.
Production Details
- Dates: Runs through October 30, 2016
- Location: Synetic Theater, Crystal City, VA - 1800 S. Bell St., Arlington, VA 22202
- Regular Run: Wednesday - Saturday, 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, 2:00 p.m.
- Tickets: $35 and up. Student tickets start at $15. Senior citizens and military receive $5 off. Group discounts are available. Tickets are available for purchase at www.synetictheater.org.
- Production is wordless and will NOT have dialogue
- Recommended for ages 16 & up for violence and partial nudity

For the younger thespians, October sees the return of Synetic Family Theater to the Main Stage. Choose from the Music Box, a wonderful collection of comedic vignettes set to music, or The Miraculous Magical Balloon, a series of hilarious sketches synthesizing music, ballet, clowning, and audience participation.on alternating Saturdays at 11am throughout the month. Shows run for approximately 45 minutes followed by a Q&A session with the actors. Tickets run $15 for adults and $10 for children under 13.
