Since her breakout in the '90s with DJ/King Britt's Sylk 130 and Us3, she has fearlessly traversed genres, from soulful and acid jazz and Hip Hop, EDM and House Music to Brazilian and Straight Ahead Jazz. Her multifaceted talents as a singer, songwriter, and pianist have earned her acclaim, with her debut album "On Becoming A Woman" reaching #3 on BBC Radio 1's chart. Beyond genre confines, Alison's music is a visceral experience, inviting listeners to both dance and reflect. Her musical journeys are informed and echoes the spirit of her father's record collection; a testament to her enduring powerful singing and performing which transcends genre and touches the soul.
