Son Cubano Suberraneo brings the musical sounds of Cuba’s golden era of song (1950- 70s) to life, right here in the nation’s capital. We are a five-piece ensemble of top notch musicians and entertainers with a shared passion for Cuban “Son”, the musical style at the core of latin Salsa dance music. Led by bandleader Josh Schneck on the Cuban Tres - an instrument at the heart of Cuban son. Thursday’s Jazz at Met Park performance will include Cristian Perez on guitar, Fran Vielma on congas, Steve Falcon on lead vocals, and Jimmy Rioja on Bass. Come join for a fun evening of musical entertainment for listening and dancing.
