For the second year, AAA and Arlington Public Schools ACC have partnered to create this special vocational training event where students create, curate and produce a professional art show. Over 50 ACC high school students will showcase their artwork during the month-long show featuring a variety of mediums including photography, digital art, painting, sculpture, and mixed media on canvas. Arlington Artists Alliance members worked with select ACC classes this spring by giving demonstrations in painting, graphic design, and mixed media. Leading up to the show, Alliance artists collaborated with students to help frame their work and discuss the business side of the art world. Proceeds from the sale of artwork will be donated to the ACC's art program.

This year's theme UN | Natural, was selected by the students:

"The word natural refers to something that occurs or exists in the world that does not involve human intervention or influence. But is there really any part of this planet that isn’t touched by humans in some way? Our very existence goes against the natural order. We all claim to love nature, and yet, it is dwindling all around us."

Opening Reception: Friday, June 2, 2023, 5-7pm
