April Events in National Landing: Music, Markets, Fitness, and More

NATIONAL LANDING, ARLINGTON, VA—Spring into April in National Landing with an exciting range of free events. From a celebration of art and music at the Pink in the Park event series to the return of the weekly Farmers Market and the launch of the Fit @ Met fitness offerings, there’s no shortage of fun to enjoy the return of warmer weather.

National Landing is Northern Virginia’s rapidly evolving downtown and innovation community. Comprised of the Pentagon City, Crystal City and Potomac Yard neighborhoods, National Landing spans from Arlington to Alexandria and is home to Amazon HQ2, the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, and a diverse roster of restaurants, retail, residences, and hotels. APRIL EVENT HIGHLIGHTS 

FIT @ MET: Start your day with a fitness boost at Met Park, where you can join a free instructor-led class that welcomes participants of all skill levels. Grab a punch card on-site and attend multiple events to get fitness prizes. Visit nationallanding.org/fitness for the complete class schedule.

PINK BEATS: Enjoy live music on the Water Park stage featuring top local talent programmed by Songbyrd, one of the premier music houses in DC. Guests can purchase spring-inspired food and drinks from the Water Park kiosks—highlights include the Cherry Blossom Sushi Roll from Fat Fish; a Cherry Blossom milkshake from Bubbie’s; Lychee martini and Casian shrimp bahn mi from Pho Wheels; and more. Water Bar will feature a Cherry Blossom Cosmo and happy hour deals. Rounding out the experience are lawn games, special giveaways and beautiful blossom-themed décor. “Pink Beats” is part of National Landing’s “Pink in the Park” event series celebrating cherry blossom season in Arlington.

ART OF PINK: The signature event of the “Pink in the Park” series, “Art of Pink” brings an after-hours art and music experience to all corners of Met Park. Browse the Blossom Night Market, a curated assortment of more than a dozen AAPI local food vendors and makers. Explore BLOOM: a 1x1 art exhibit showcasing cherry blossom-inspired original work by 90 local artists. All art pieces are available for purchase. Catch an electrifying 1 vs 1 breakdance competition—LOZ 29 Year Anniversary Jam featuring the DMV’s top breakdancers battling it out for the grand prize. DJ Fleg of Olympic breakdancing fame will be spinning throughout the competition. LOZ, is the oldest breakdancing crew in the DC region founded by AAPI members, lauded for their evolution of the breakdancing artform. At “Art of Pink” guests can also shop Met Park’s array of local businesses, snap Instagram-worthy photos and soak in the lively nighttime atmosphere of National Landing

 COMMUNITY CLEANUP: In celebration of Earth Day, join the National Landing BID for a Community Cleanup. Whether you're a long-time resident or new to National Landing, this event is a fantastic way to give back, connect with neighbors, and be part of the transformation happening in the community. Guests should bring water, closed-toed shoes and comfy clothes. The first 50 registrants on-site will receive a limited-edition Community Cleanup T-shirt as a thank you.

MORE SPRING FUN IN NATIONAL LANDING 

Met Park Farmers Market: The popular Met Park Farmers Market returns on Tuesdays and Saturdays, offering fresh, locally-sourced produce from local vendors. Produced by Eat Loco, the Met Park farmers market is not just a place to shop; it’s a community experience where guests can discover the stories behind their food and connect with local farmers and artisans.

Minority Vendor Showcase: 2025 Minority Vendor Showcase returns to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City to spotlight Black, Hispanic, LGBTQIA+, and women-owned businesses in the area. In partnership with BizLaunch, business training sessions will also be offered on financial health and social media promotion to equip vendors with valuable tools to grow and succeed.

Wellness Wednesdays @ The Innovation Studio: The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington hosts a feel-good yoga flow every third Wednesday in their Innovation Studio.

Easter Egg Roll at Water Park: Water Park hosts an Easter Egg Roll with fun kids’ activities, including face painting, balloon animals, corn hole, giant Connect Four, a photo booth, and special guest, the Easter Bunny. An egg hunt will take place throughout the park from 10:30 – 11 a.m. Water Bar will have a satellite bar set up with spring cocktails, mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.

Water Park Spring Concert Series: The outdoor dining park comes alive each Friday in April with live music from the Water Park stage.
