On October 10, Puerto Rican illustrator Zara Gonzalez Hoang will lead a special art-making session inspired by her bilingual books and Puerto Rican heritage. Participants will explore drawing and printmaking techniques that reflect her cultural background.
Then, on October 24, artist David Amoroso will engage attendees in crafting tissue paper Marigold flowers and calaveras in honor of Día de los Muertos. This unique activity will take place alongside the music of Los Day Trippers, featuring Felix Contreras from NPR Music.
