ReLaunch National Landing

Small businesses are the backbone of our community. To help them thrive, the National Landing Business Improvement District has launched an economic development program that provides technical assistance to local legacy businesses. A new, dedicated investment of $75,000 through a program called ReLaunch National Landing – in partnership with Arlington Economic Development's BizLaunch division – provides support to National Landing businesses that have served the community for ten or more years.

How to apply

Legacy, small businesses in Crystal City, Pentagon City, any Potomac Yard that have been in business for ten or more years – and have 50 or fewer employees – are eligible to apply for the ReLaunch National Landing program, in partnership with Arlington Economic Development.

How ReLaunch National Landing can help

The ReLaunch initiative builds on past National Landing Business Improvement District initiatives designed to support local companies. The ReLaunch program can assist businesses with:

  • Financial management and sourcing capital — How to create a budget, ensure profitability, how and where to access capital
  • Strategic planning — How to build a plan for your business: product, pricing, target audiences
  • Marketing and branding — How to create a brand and use marketing to connect your business to your best prospects
  • Digital presence — Development of website or e-commerce solutions and how to use social media to grow your business
  • Basic legal structure, documentation, and policy requirements — Ensure your business has a sound legal foundation and maintains proper records

Technical services are available while funding lasts. The ReLaunch initiative supports the BID's 2024 Work Plan goals while celebrating the many small businesses that make National Landing a vibrant community.
