May 2022 - Letter from Executive Director
Spring is in the air and exciting transformation of our downtown district continues to take shape all around us! Get ready for a fun-filled and active lineup of programming and activations for the spring and summer months ahead.
We’re excited to welcome the return of the beloved Friday night music series in a new location this year due to construction at the Water Park, as well as a refreshed artisanal market and farmers market on Saturdays – full of fresh goods, unique crafts, entertainment and DIY classes. National Landing is also pleased to welcome HUSTLE back to our district this spring and summer for heart pumping fitness programming. As we look towards June, be on the lookout for announcements of special Pride celebrations to partake in! For our programming, we’ll be releasing more details on locations, dates and timing on our website and social media very soon.
On the business front, we continue to garner great interest from new and exciting retailers who are looking to call National Landing their future home. Most recently, ZEBOX, an international innovation incubator and accelerator just celebrated the opening of their U.S. headquarters in our district. This week, BEAUTY Champagne and Sugar also opened their doors as our newest retail tenant on 23rd street. And we’re not done yet – be on the look out for many more announcements to come!
At the BID, we remain optimistic about all the new openings and changes on the horizon for our community. Despite the heavy construction underway, we are focused on communicating these updates and providing residents with moments of joy to help us all navigate any extra noise and closures taking place.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone out and about experiencing all that National Landing has to offer as we welcome the warmer days ahead.
As always – stay connected with us @NationalLanding or check out our website for upcoming exciting announcements.
